Melania Trump's cover for Vanity Fair magazine came out 1 day after her husband, US president Donald Trump talked about building a Mexican border wall and the Mexican president canceling a scheduled meeting with Donald Trump. The magazine cover sparked a lot of outrage in social media especially because of the way she was portrayed on the cover with her having a posing with a fork and a string of jewels as if she were about to eat them like spaghetti.

Shocking!!! see what a father did to his 10 year old daughter in kanu state.

The Senior Magistrate’s Court 34, sitting at Rijiyar Zaki, Ungoggo Local Government Area of Kano State, has remanded one Saminu Umar for brutally beating his ten-year old daughter. According to Daily Nigerian, Umar beat Naja'atu for visiting her uncle without his permission. The loud cries of the girl drew neighbours’ attention, who overpowered the father and  rescued her.
The neighbours then reported him to the Rijiyar Zaki Police Division in Kano.

The police arrested him and charged him to court after spending a couple of days in their custody. The young girl may lose sight due to magnitude of injuries she suffered during the attack. DAILY NIGERIAN further gathered that Mr Umar had divorced the victim’s mother about eight years ago, leaving her in the hands of his new wife. The defendant pleaded guilty to the charge. Speaking after the court session, he expressed regret.

"It is a harsh decision, Umar said. "It is nothing but the act of the devil. I really regret my actions"

Chelsea keeper courtois throws shade at mikel obi for leaving chelsea.

Chelsea's first choice goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has taken a thinly veiled dig at his ex-Chelsea teammate, saying the Bronze winning medalist is more interested in financial security than playing for a top team.
Mikel shocked the footballing world when he joined the Chinese club in January, doubling his salary from £70,000 per week at Chelsea to £140,000 per week at Tianjin Teda, but Courtois has revealed he'll rather play for a big club and earn less, than play for a small club and earn a lot.

When asked by Mirror UK on why he's never considered going to Chinese league like former teammates Oscar, Ramires and Mikel the 24-year-old said:

“Some players are more concentrated on what they will do after their football career and want to make sure their lives are financially settled. “I prefer to play in big teams, earn a little less money and win trophies.”

Mikel is the new captain of Tianjin Teda, and has even scored a goal for the club, after spending over 10 years at Chelsea, scoring six times in 372 appearances for the London club

“The All Progressive Congress (APC) should point its search light inward and investigate itself as to the source of the rumour. PDP, I said have nothing to gain from anything. “Those who are peddling the rumour know themselves and they are in APC. Some of them are already positioning themselves for power in 2019. APC should investigate itself."
